Meet Carolyn...

Carolyn is a freelance clarinettist based in the North West. She graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music in 2013 and since then has played with orchestras such as the Halle, BBC
Philharmonic and the Royal Northern Sinfonia. Carolyn also plays the flute and saxophone, and loves performing in shows across the North West.

She thoroughly enjoys working with the El Sistema inspired teaching project ‘In Harmony’ in Liverpool, where she delivers musicianship classes to children aged 2 and upwards, giving young
children the foundation blocks for music, enabling them to build on these and become well rounded musicians.
Carolyn has recently become a new mother, and is loving looking after her 5 month old son. The day before he was born, Carolyn played live on the radio with the BBC Philharmonic! He obviously loved it so much, he had to come out and join the fun!
